The philosophy of sustainable trade movements and the green guild come under the banner of Green Syndicalism also termed Eco-Syndicalism.
Though related to Anarcho syndicalism in basic methods used, the ideologies are not the same. Green Syndicalism uses a mix of direct action, trade unions and democracy in the workplace movements. While they work closely with fair trade organisations and other green movements, they more often than not do not align with the political agendas of these movements or groups. Eco-syndicalism is invariably active in the areas of heritage and craft worker movements.
