DSDS

DSDS or the Delhi Sustainable Development Summit is an annual conference organised by TERI, The Energy Resources Institute. This institute is an Indian research and policy organisation that has been pursuing the Millennium Development Goals for the last decade almost. The Summit, in its tenth year currently, attracts thinkers and practitioners from across the globe. Varied segments are represented such as government bodies, industries and business houses, bilateral and multilateral organisations, research and academia as well as members from civil society. Following the success of the DSDS, TERI has started the World Sustainable Development Forum that applies its research worldwide in an attempt to examine industrial development vis-à-vis environment and sustainability analysis. The learning’s are then applied to local government and industries to arrive at solutions to enable accomplishment of the Millennium Development Goals.
