Apple HomePlug

Home electronics are set to get more efficient when Apple HomePlug is activated. The company has filed for two patens using the HomePlug standard and powerline networking which will allow clients the ability to manage power usage on their appliances such as computers and gadgets. Wifi dead spots will be a thing of the past with the device which will make all power outlets a passage for video, audio and data.  A buildings existing wiring will be used by the HomePlug Powerline Alliance to share data with junction boxes and outlets having data ports that will be power enabled. These new monitoring systems will give users the ability to control how connected gadgets are powered and therefore reduce consumption of energy with features like recommendations on best times to charge equipment and when to set them onto sleep mode.
